Cameron et al. (1989) - a total of 400 individuals imported in 1965-66 were released at two sites in the Nelson district of the South Island.

Establishment:

Cameron et al. (1989) - there is no report on the status of A. musculus at the release sites, but it is assumed it did not establish.
