Biocontrol introduction

Target pest: Chrysodeixis eriosoma (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae), green looper or silver y moth

Agent introduced: Microplitis sp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) = Microgaster sp.

Imported: Naturally occurring

Establishment: Throughout North Island and as far south as Christchurch

Impacts on target: Found infrequently, but significant rates of parasitism are sometimes recorded.
