Released: 1977-79

Release details: First released at Auckland, it established and spread rapidly. Redistributed to Rotorua, Taupo, Manawatu and Lincoln.

Establishment: Established in all lucerne growing areas of New Zealand by 1987

Impacts on target: Implicated in decline of aphid populations - parasitism reaches 30-40%. Effectiveness may be reduced by hyperparasitism.
