Cameron et al. (1989) - 240 eggs were collected near Sydney, Australia, despite heavy parasitism.These were transferred to New Zealand and reared in quarantine.

Release details:

Cameron et al. (1989) - 140 larvae were released at Paihia in March 1965; later a further 60 adults were released at the same site.

Establishment:

Cameron et al. (1989) - there is evidence adults emerged in May 1965 from the larvae released in March. However, it failed to establish.
