Pictorial guides: Onions and other alliums

Information about pests and diseases of alliums already in New Zealand is available from the manual "Best Practices for Integrated Pest Management in New Zealand Allium Crops", which may be obtained from Onions New Zealand Inc., PO Box 10-232, Wellington (phone 04 472 3795).

Pictorial guides for key pests are available below as A4-formatted pdf files. A free viewer for pdf files is available.

Each organism is in a separate file and may be downloaded separately, or you may download the complete guide.

We recommend that you use a good quality printer to generate clear colour images. You may like to take the files on a disk or memory stick to your local print or copy centre for printing.
