Cameron et al. (1989) - Eurytoma sp. was imported in 1961 as parasitised Coleophora deauratella host larvae collected from near Freiburg, Germany. From the shipment of 4,500 C. deauratella larvae, 11 female and four male Eurytoma sp. emerged, but they were still under quarantine when an outbreak of the mite Pyemotes zwoelferia occurred and were destroyed along with the rest of the imported material.
