Cameron et al. (1989) - Gelis ?areator is a secondary parasitoid which emerged from a 1955 importation of 5,000 Coleophora trifolii host larvae collected near Montmédy, France. An unknown number of this parasitoid species emerged. Specimens were sent to the British Museum of Natural History for identification; none were released.
