Cameron et al. (1989) - Gelis tonsus is a secondary parasitoid which emerged from a 1955 importation of 5,000 Coleophora trifolii host larvae collected near MontmÃ©dy, France. One female of this parasitoid species emerged and was sent to the British Museum of Natural History for identification.
