Import notes: Imported as Typhlodromus occidentalis, the correct name is now Gallendromus occidentalis

Released: 1976

Release details: Present in New Zealand prior to an insecticide resistant strain being introduced in 1976. Resistant strain was released in Nelson, Hastings, Waimate, Central Otago and Lincoln.

Establishment: Resistant strain established in Central Otago, Canterbury and Nelson (Hope).

Impacts on target: Contributes little to the control of P. ulmi.
